Workshops & Talks

Practical workshops, helping you understand the things most of us were never taught, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

Whether you're supporting ageing parents, planning for your own future, protecting your family, or making sure your business could cope without you, there's a workshop designed to help.

Each workshop focuses on a different topic, but they all follow my practical 5-step FINAL Framework, giving you clear actions rather than information overload.

Choose a single workshop on the subject that matters most to you, or attend several over time to build your own personalised plan.

Workshops are available for individuals, couples, community groups, workplaces and organisations across Hertfordshire and beyond.

"This workshop was a detailed, step-by-step guide to preparing your final matters so that when your time comes, you leave clarity, not chaos." - Sim Malin

Get Your Ducks in a Row

Signature Half-Day Workshop
3.5 hours · £125 (£75 for a family member)

The one that brings it all together.

Most people know they should have a will, powers of attorney and to have had some important conversations with their family - but there's a lot more to it than that.

This half-day session gives you a clear, confident overview of everything that matters: what you have, what you need, what's missing, and what to do next.

Ideal for individuals, couples, or adult children who may one day have to manage a parent's estate.

Everyone leaves with a 60-page digital colour workbook and access to a resource hub with 50+ guides, checklists and next steps.

2-Hour Specialist Workshops · £50 each

Focused, practical sessions going deeper on a single topic. Pick the one that feels most urgent - or work through them all.

Digital Legacy

2-Hour Workshop · £50

Would your loved ones know how to access every aspect of your digital life?

Passwords, accounts, subscriptions, social media, cloud storage - most families have no idea where to start. This session helps you get your entire online life organised so it's secure now and manageable for others if something happens to you.

Business Blind Spots

2-Hour Workshop · £50

If you disappeared tomorrow, would your business survive next week?

Most business owners hold critical knowledge in their heads and have never stopped to ask: who knows where everything is? This session helps sole traders and small business owners spot the gaps that could cause chaos - and take steps to protect what they've built.

Letter of Wishes

2-Hour Workshop · £50

A will says what. A Letter of Wishes explains why.

This guided session helps you draft the document that gives context to your will - so executors aren't left guessing and families aren't left hurt by decisions they didn't understand. You'll leave with a solid first draft, prompt sheets, and the confidence to keep going.

Legacy Letter Writing

2-Hour Workshop · £50

Some things are easier written than spoken.

A safe, supported space to write the letters that really matter - to children, grandchildren, a younger version of yourself, or someone you never got to say goodbye to. You'll leave with a first draft started and a framework to continue in your own time with option to follow-up.

Funeral Planning 101

2-Hour Workshop · £50

Funerals are for the living as much as for the person who dies.

Most people have never explored their options - and families are left making expensive decisions under pressure. This session covers everything from direct cremation and natural burial to funeral payment plans and how to record your wishes so your loved ones aren't left guessing or overspending when they are stressed and upset.

The best time to sort this was years ago. The second best time is now.
